ABOUT GE
Andrew Ge (pronounced "guh") is an actor, UCB-trained improviser, and musical theatre performer. As a teenager, he played the bass clarinet in pit orchestras for his high school musical productions and, like the little mermaid herself as far as he can recall, looked up through the hole in the stage and dreamed of one day becoming an actor and singer performing above ground. In the unlikeliest of scenarios following a botched Hamilton audition, his teenage dream came true when he joined the 2019 cast of East West Players' Mamma Mia which, to everyone's surprise, turned out to be a very popular and sold-out show. Since then, Ge has been fortunate enough in this life to work on shows such as A Christmas Story at Center Theatre Group's The Ahmanson Theatre and The Far Country at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. In front of the camera, Ge has acted in film festival shorts and features, independent series, and commercial campaigns that have been spotted as far as Taipei. In his free time, he enjoys photography, dancing, and making matcha... not to be confused with maca, mate, or mocha. Ge is thankful for his team that keeps him busy and sane.
